We honour thee by painstakingly slow-cooking thy flesh,

We honour thee by rendering thy fat,

We honour thee by adding herbs and spices,

We honour thee by ensuring thou are tender and delicious,

We honour thee by eating every last bite,

We honour thee by sucking thy marrow dry,

We honour thee by making broth from thy bones, 

We honour thee by using thy hooves as a thickening agent,

We honour thee by turning thy hide into clothes and accessories,

We honour thee by processing thy less appetising parts into dog food,
